You will recall that I recently requested your help in solving the saga surrounding the faulty gearbox in my car, purchased from Swain & Jones. At the time of contacting you I had become very worried, stressed and frustrated at the time being lost due to Jaguar Warranty’s slow and negative response (not helped, it’s true to say, by the two long bank holiday weekends).
I was therefore extremely relieved that you and Gareth were able to influence events (however you did it!) to a positive outcome in only two days, continuing the excellent service and attention we received from Wesley when purchasing the car. Riders Jaguar in Truro, incidentally, also pulled out all the stops and had the new gearbox fitted almost before it arrived!
The situation, which for a while very much took the shine off my first Jaguar ownership experience, has now turned back into the purely indulgent enjoyment that this purchase was all about in the first place.

This has been a stress free experience from start to its completion. From the moment my wife and I arrived at your showroom we were made very welcome, which is so rare these days. Good Afternoon Gareth
This is an email to express my thanks for the recent customer service I have received at Swain and Jones and in particular the excellent service delivery and professionalism from Wesley Wittstock.
Four years ago I purchased an X Type estate from yourselves and Wesley was the salesperson, although one of the cheapest vehicles in your stock he made me feel as if I was purchasing the most expensive, nothing was too much trouble. I really felt a valued customer.
After two years of trouble free motoring I came back to see about changing and again met with Wesley, he once again was excellent but unfortunately I purchased an S Type R from HA Fox of Southampton.
Reasonable service but not to the level promoted by Wesley. However, from day one the vehicle had faults and they, after the initial help, (required work the first day of delivery) just told me to come into Swain and Jones, my nearest dealer. I returned the vehicle to yourselves with numerous faults. All covered by warranty but with excellent courtesy and service. I went from the service area to see Wesley to enquire if he could help in regaining my confidence in Jaguar.
He was able to provide me with another vehicle that I was interested in. Once again I purchased the cheapest vehicle in your stock (bearing in mind that changing from the S Type to a different vehicle meant a very large financial loss to myself) and again Wesley made me feel a very valued customer. I now have a vehicle, X Type 3.0 Sovereign Estate that I love and feel is reliable. I have again rekindled my love of Jaguar.
Therefore after this long explanation, all I really want to say is that Wesley is an ambassador for Swain and Jones and I would like you to know that. I have delayed writing to you from when I purchased the vehicle in December 2010 to emphasise how good Wesley's customer service is, rather than you thinking that part of it was the euphoria of changing my vehicle.

Just a note to express my thanks for the excellent manner in which my recent purchase was handled - I'm absolutely delighted with the vehicle and very impressed with the customer service we received from your dealership - from the courteous reception when we arrived on Saturday morning, to the final handover, the whole transaction was handled professionally and efficiently.
The purchase was undertaken "long range" via telephone and Email, but I'm pleased to report that this didn't impinge on the high level of customer service we experienced. I have previously purchased new from our local dealership in the north-east of England (and have been less than satisfied with the service we received there), so it was with a little trepidation that I committed to purchase a vehicle from a distant dealership. I was encouraged by David's assurance that Swain & Jones has been in business for over 100 years, and I've been very impressed with the standard of service we experienced from every representative within your dealership.
I will have no hesitation in recommending Swain & Jones to friends and colleagues (and have done so already!) - I will certainly be in touch next time we change our car.

We feel it’s very important to give credit where credit is due and would like to say that we very impressed with your salesman Wesley Wittstock, from the initial contact with your dealership through to the collection of our vehicle we found him to be professional, polite and efficient.
Where Wesley really impressed us, was that he was not too pushy or over bearing, he professionally pointed out all the products, services and benefits available to us and knowing that our budget was not a bottomless pit of money and that we were more than impressed with the entry level accessories on our model, he kindly respected our budgetary constraints and did not make us feel ’cheapskates’ for not purchasing additional items, products and services.
Our ' Jaguar ' experience so far, has way exceeded any previous new car purchase we have ever made and this has been achieved by finding an excellent product and an equally excellent salesman.

It looks great, drives brilliantly and has a great specification as standard. Danny Kinally was very thorough and attentive. He called when he said he would and gave the impression nothing was too much trouble. He secured a very good part exchange for me and offered me a very keen change over price. The experience with Swain and Jones was in stark contrast with my local dealer (Colliers) in Tamworth who seemed dismissive of my sales inquiry, but took details and then never followed them up. I will avoid spending money with Colliers in the future if I can help it.

The Sales Specialist David Doyle could not have been more helpful or patient and although I was spending what in Jaguar terms is a modest sum, David made me feel that he was treating me the same as if I had been a customer spending £50k or more.
I am absolutely delighted with the car and with the after sales service that I have received. Now that I have fulfilled a long standing ambition of becoming a Jaguar owner I shall certainly continue to be a customer of Swain & Jones.
